Children automatically become hands-on in nature. It provokes children into thought, action, and formulating their own ideas. When they are involved in experiences with nature, they are absorbed and completely attentive to what is at hand. We seek to support them in this by providing natural environments to explore and adding tools to enhance explorations because when children connect with nature and develop their own personal relationship with it, the relationship will carry meaning into their understanding of nature and ultimately, it's creator.

Problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity, people management and coordinating with others has been listed as the top five skills needed in life. Our goal is to help our students gain those skills and many more through a focus on care of person, care of environment and social relations. We believe self worth comes from successfully accomplishing meaningful tasks, so we aim to equip our students with opportunities to gain skills and ultimately a greater confidence in themselves and their capabilities. This exposure to the real world will help feed their need for meaning and purpose, allowing them to be curious about who God created them to be.
The goal of this program is to support the whole family and not the student alone, so community is a space we are really intentional about. There are family social events, nature meet-ups, mother culture nights, a summer book club, opportunities to serve together and more!
